Current fabia vrs finance deals

Featured Replies

Hey all,

This may just be a passing glimmer of hope lol

But what sort of finance options are skoda offering on the new vrs ATM? I don't understand much of the field so would just like opinions and information on what's good what's bad and what may happen if **** hit the fan. Are there many of you operating on finance?

Also an example of what payments and there amount would be great :)

You might want to look at the current finance offers on Skoda's website or speak to your local dealer.

As far as monthly repayment cost, that's generally determined during application although skoda may be able to give you an estimate.

What happens if you can't pay? Ultimately the car can be repossessed however there are ways to insure yourself to protect against such an outcome. Although to be honest if your worried about not being able to afford the repayments or your at high risk of losing your job then finance really isn't for you.

There is always the option of unsecured finance through your bank, it's a little more expensive but it means the car is yours from day one and if you can't pay you'll be managed by collections to arrange a repayment plan rather than someone knocking on your door to collect your car.

Thankyou :)

Additional info for you.

You probably already know that Skoda have the following offers on:-

0% finance , zero vat ( 50% down) on specific models

0% finance 5% vat on most models

Be aware that the dealers can do some other deals as we found out just by asking.

SWMBO is picking up a Fabia 1.2 SE+ on Saturday, we managed to get 0% finance & zero vat even though the SE+ is not part of this specific offer, managed to find one that was the colour wanted with upgrade of alloys, only criteria was it had to be registered & delivered before the end of the month.

I'm gutted, I ordered a 1.2 tsi and got the 5% vat offer but not the 0% finance. Do you think when it comes to signing the finance papers I can tell them I want 0% or at least a lower rate than the one agreed???

Cancel your order if they don't then order again

I didn't know whether a cheeky phone ball to the dealer might be in order. They gave me a very good deal in the 1st place but don't know whether to say circumstances have changed blah blah blah may not be able to make payments etc.
