Received my L&K on the 6th July 2011 after waiting about 8 months

Still not got the compensation

. How long will it take to get it and has anyone had any longer waiting times.

For my Superb it took about 3 months because Skoad UK kept messing it up, but after repeated calls to the delaer and Skoda UK, the compensation arrived in a matter of days.

It's getting Customer Services to get their act together that is the hard part.

To get your car in July you must have placed your order in December which is when I orderd my wifes L&K, we had ours back in early May, it was actually ready for us the last week of April but we were away so in reality only took 5 months from time of order (week before Christmas) to when it was avaiable for us to collect.

Have you been given a reason why your car took so long?

My wife's is similar to yours except hatch without the DSG.

My L&K was a 2.0TDi Estate with DSG pehaps that what took the long tme also I had it in Rosso Brunello and I beleive a delat in getting the piment from Japan caused the delay

Had a nice surprise today, a cheque for £300 arrived on the doormat from the dealer which is my compensation for having to wait 8 months or so to get my car. What makes it better is I told the dealer that the normal M&S vouchers were not much use to me (I don't shop there) but Skoda vouchers would be fine if possible; thay said they'd see what they can do.

They surpassed my expectations with a personal cheque, so thanks to Marlboro Skoda in West London, much appreciated
