VW forum ?

Featured Replies

Well people, I am now hunting for a similar forum to this for VW's. I have found this site very informative and hope to find a VW one that can live up to the high standards you have all set.

Does anyone happen to know a good VW forum ?

Thanks

UK MkIVs is pretty good. Between Briskoda, SCN and UK MkIVs I'd be surprised if there was anything you couldn't find on the whole VAG range, at least mechanically.

Yep, there's a few. Is it a particular VW model you're interested in?

Don't know of an equivalent of Briskoda, across the whole VW range. Not to this excellent standard anyway :)

This forum is the best one I'm on and I ask questions about all sort of things and get good answers. No need to go anywhere else really

It's a good point really.

As even with VW models, there's a lot of info that's relevant on here anyway - with all the shared platforms etc. Plus you'll also find people who know a fair bit about VWs too, if it's a specific question emoticon-0148-yes.gif

Yeah I do realise the whole VAG thing, but it would also be nice to 'chat' to people who have the same car as me(vw caddy maxi life 1.6 tdi bluemotion) specifically if you know what I mean. I was wanting to know the whole running in thing etc , how to run in my new car and get the best from it long term, I plan on keeping it 10+ years! It is of course the same engine as the skoda 1.6 crtdi so you guys will be able to help ?

My last car was an Audi A4 and I found the members of http://www.vwaudiforum.co.uk/ generally helpful.

Like here there are sections for each model but useful info too by searching other models with the the mechanicals.

I've tried to register on there but it keeps denying me saying I'm a spammer! I've tried emailing the contact but have had no reply.

There are many forums that cover all the VAG range, just not all in the same place.

IMO Briskoda has to be the most informative

If for what ever reason this happens they will not reply.

I had this when I wanted to join a different forum using the same system.

Simply delete the site and any other forums from your cookies then sign up with a different user name and email address.

Of the free email services I find gmail is the best although finding an unused name can require a little creative thinking. Also with gmail you can forward messages so you don't have to log in to know if you have new mail.

I don't think it liked Chrome's Autofill, I went on IE9 and did it the old fashioned way and it worked fine... Used the same username as on here btw!
