whats the small plastic pipe on the air filter box? about 1 inch round

wheres it go have i got to put a small filter on it as nothing on it at the moment

Not sure about the octavia but 9/10 times they are just PCV valves (emissions breather recirculation pipes sort of thing) put a small breather filter on it if i were you mate. Saves recirculating and burning off oil, vents to atmosphere instead

although I could be massively wrong and it could be different on the octavia lol

It's for the secondary air system and you'll need to put a little filter on it.
