A new Fabia Owner

Featured Replies

After 2 years of owning my fuel hungry cooper s (tuned) and having to fork out £265 for tax I went out to find a cheaper car to run.

And stumbled across the Skoda Fabia Monte Carlo 1.6tdi (105bhp).

Well what a car for the money, £20 a year road tax 60 mpg and with it being an ex demo it has an array of extras bluetooth handsfree, climate control, cruise control centre armrest and the ipod media interface

In all honesty I think it looks a little better than the VRS as it has arches and skirts and stuff.

Possibly the only thing it will get is a set of Eibachs and a Tuning Box

Nice - first thing I did before I even left the forecourt was to open the boot and remove the silly stickers they put in there - I handed mine to the sales manager.

What silly stickers??

The garage stickers - There's one on back that says Henry's.

The one they put on mine was about 4 inches high by 7 inches across - seemed bloody huge cos they whacked it right in the middle of the rear window.

That is quality.

Nice colour scheme. One of the best going

Agree with the stickers.

You mention fuel economy for the Cooper S. I presume it's a pre-efficient dynamics version or the fuel economy wasnt quite what BMW make it out to be.

Good motor you've got there. Even better for skipping the huge wait time and queue. Have fun :p
