Is the electric fan on the superb supposed to come on with the A/C?

Mine doesn't....

yes it should come on...could be a switch problem

Once the Air con is set to auto the fan should run constant --- these fans do have a habit of packing up though. To check -- with the car running switch on the air con if the fan doesn't run tap the motor with a bar (be careful stay back from the blade) it generally will start to run at this stage most likely a lot slower than it should. if it does then its time to replace it

I never heard mine working, only when it's extremely hot outside. But to be sure I need to check. I can be that this fan doesnt make much noise en that I heard the big fan at max. speed...
