Thanks for the link and if the reporter is correct, then at least we now know the reason for the two versions of the 1.8TSI; the 152PS is designed to more readily accept 91RON fuel.

Makes me wonder why the UK spec 1.8TSI SE Plus has this engine, unless the Plus models come from the Russian production facility :wonder:

Anybody reading this who has an SE Plus, does your chassis number begin with XW8 rather than TMB :wonder: :wonder:

Thank you for posting that. Most interesting. Strangely it shows up something I had never noticed before about ALL the cars gear ratios... Fourth and fifth seem almost identical ratios. Can anybody comment on that, or correct me if I am wrong?
