Yeti Greenline Elegance How Long?

Featured Replies

Hello everyone I am new to the forum but have been reading your posts scouring and searching with enthusiasm getting valuable information from yourselves, and dreaming about my yeti on order. My yeti was ordered via the NHS veichle leasing scheme on the 5th of june, and I was initially given a lead time of 20 weeks however due to reading your posts I expected to wait 6 months :( . I have waited patiently with green eyes of envy of other yeti drivers that go past me, visited 5 different dealers just to sit in an Elegance once A month (How Sad). Today with baited breath I contacted nhs fleet solutions for an update on my order and was told I would get the car at the end of January 2012. Can you beleave it A nearly nine month wait, What has happend to the Yeti Leadtimes??. And How will I get through the trauma... :wonder:

I don't think it is just Yeti leadtimes but Skoda leadtimes in general. My Superb was ordered in May and still has no build date.

VW on the otherhand are quoting 16 weeks for a new Passat - colleague ordered his after mine but will get it before!

Hey ho, at least I will have the last laugh!

Hi Y-Dreamer

I am in the same position ordered,Yeti, March 2011; Skoda customer service, quoted 20/22 weeks prior the order and confirmed again in june. In July I was given a provisional build week in September that will make it 28 weeks after ordering, but not confirmed yet so I antisapate a 9 month wait. Aware of the case law governing this issue.

Being a loyal Skoda custoner purchasing from new every three years since 1997, this is not the service I except adding insult to injurie their was NO information from any authorised course, I feel a Kia coming on.

Best of luck with your vehicle

Hey Phil sorry to hear you are in the same situation as myself, 9 months really is a Looooong time to wait :wall: . It does get annoying when I hear of similar cars gloating (or floating) around the dealer network for sale. I just hope the yeti really is as good as everyone says then it may be worth the wait. From what I can remember the KIA has poor fuel economy compared to the yeti.

Let me know if you get an earlier build...

Feel quite lucky with mine then.

Ordered late Jan got it May the 13th (was in the country about 10 days before that too).

Worth the wait :)

We ordered our Monster on 26 Mar this year and was told at least 20wks to build.

It should have been built last week but we are waiting for confirmation of this.

We too have been looking at Monsters that pass us by with at times uncontrollable envy emoticon-0132-envy.gif

If it was built last week then we should get it some time in September. Not too long to wait now.

Dom.

Yep it seems the Yeti waiting room is quite busy! Hands up all those that keep eyeing up their brochure :D

Hi Yeti Dreamer

I have ordered my Yeti Elegance Greenline through the NHS leasing scheme too. Unfortunately it was only last month so I have a long wait ahead. :(

Yup. Don't forget the the accessories cat as well.

Too the point where I've been accused of looking and touching them more than her lying next to me.

Well I ordered (through Autofinders) a Yeti 170 4x4 Elegance with panoramic sunroof, heated windscreen, TPM, 12 speakers, park assist, rough road pack on 22 Dec 2010 and 'am still awaiting a build date (8 months on) - surely must be a record ? Getting impatient to be honest, but not many other crossovers I fancy so have not cancelled my order.

Hi Y-Dreamer

Spoke with S-UK this morning they promised to contact me later today with an up date

Yes u guest it no contact today may be tomorrow or is it a skoda saying tomorrow never comes

I feel so upset by the hole issue, I have been a loyal customer to Skoda buying a new Skoda car on avarage every 2.5 years for the last 15 years my family currently run 3 Skoda This delay has cost a small fortune one way & another I just hope the wait will be worth it have to see if it get built when they say end of Sept I let you know take car thumb the broucher one more time.

Regards the Kia honest john (telagraph) rates them just may be their are worth a look

Take care travel well

Well guess what?

Not only has it been bloody made but it's in transit and on the ship coming over

Would anyone know how long it could take from being on ship to getting down here in deepest darkest Cornwall.

Cheers. Dom.

December 2010!!!??? OMG - I placed an order for a similar spec (all bar the 12 speakers option) in May this year with Autofinders and was hoping to get a build date any time now. My god, if I have to wait another 5 months before a build date I may seriously have to reconsider this.....
