Have booked a windscreen replacement with Autoglass. The standard non heated type for SE.

Can anyone tell me what is replaced other than the windcreen? Do the gloss black decorative side pillar trims

get replaced? Do they get damaged on removal?

I assume refixing the inside mirror is a simple matter.

Any other points to look out for??

They replaced mine as well about 6 months ago. Immaculate job and as far as I can tell it is an exact match. They take care of the rear view mirror, pull the old one off and stick it on to the new one. Hand them the keys and forget about it.

Autoglass replaced mine as well. Fitter was very careful removing all the trim, mirror etc and equally careful replacing it. No scrathes or dents at all. Impressed. I think he was working from a manual with showed each step to take.

Screens are bonded in, any trim that may be around the screen is re-used.
