I've got an Irish late 2008 VRS TDi. It's got a maxi-dot display but it doesn't display the current speed. The speedo is in KPH.

Anyone know what my options are for converting it to MPH in order to pass a MOT?

Can the Alt.speed readings be enabled on the maxi-dot or I'm I looking at a new dash pod?

I can't see why the 'Australian' setting would now work (not tried it on a KPH speedo car though).

Find someone local with VCDS to take a look at setting the cars country to Australia (do a search to see what it changes)
