New Greenline II owner

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

This is my first post, as (hopefully) on Friday i'll become the proud owner of a new Greenline II in white:

I used to drive a Proton Gen-2 but it was getting on a bit, and my new job involves quite a few miles driving about, so I thought i'd get something more fuel efficient than the 43mpg I was getting in my Proton, coupled with my Car tax renewal of 190quid and 400quid worth of timing belt/fan belt/brake work that needed doing to it.

I managed to get a Greenline II that my local dealer had in stock, in white - which I think looks pretty swish, and with parking sensors and bluetooth, which are both extras i'd be after anyway - after hearing that the wait for new orders was in the realm of 6months, I decided to get it on a PCP

Just got to wait for it's PDI to be done, but that should hopefully be done for Friday - looking forward to it.

Anyone got any hints/tips about what I should expect? - never had a car this new before (it's only done about 12 miles)

Cheers

Jimmy

Just enjoy it 70 mpg and in stock ;) make sure pdi gets done properly!

Very sought after car I believe. Did very well to find one especially with only 12 miles on the clock

Don't be too disappointed with low MPG at first until the engines bedded in. Enjoy high mileage :p

Picked it up on Friday with 14 miles on the clock, took it for a run up to Preston this weekend (85 miles) - I'm impressed, it's seems quick enough even with the ickle engine, am loving having cruise control as that stops my lead foot on motorways and I'm also impressed by the average 64mpg over the trip, hopefully that'll increase as the mileage increases.

Just waiting for my MDI cable now so I can get my tunes set up :)
