Roof Rails

Featured Replies

Recently bought a 2001 skoda fabia 1.9 sdi estate without roof rails.

Was hoping to simply pick up a set of roof racks for the car, but this seems impossible.

A quick look around the forms suggests i will need roof rails before anything fits on.

Has anyone here had roof rails fitted or know where to go about getting them etc.

Thanks,

Mat

you could always try an inflatable roof rack depending on how often and for what purpose you intend to use it for :)

I have fitted the roof rails to SWMBOs Fabia Estate. It's not too bad too do, but not cheap. I think that the parts come to around £180 and then you still need the cross bars to be able to use them. I am sure I have seen Mk1 Fabia Estates with normal roof bars fitted though.

Will be using them a lot to carry kayaks and canoes so need a fixed set relay.

Simple to fit ?

Just tried an ex-skoda dealership and he mentioned having to take all the roof linings out and everything. Unless i can find roof racks that clip in the gutter sounds like i will need roof rails
