Programming new keys and fobs in

Featured Replies

Now i have my octy back, (theiving towrags) well locked in a safe compound anyway and have a new lock set on order which am picking up tomorrow and then i will be changing all locks,

Just wondered if there was anybody round west yorkshire, leeds/wakefield area with a VAGcom who can wipe out old keys and program new ones in to save me having to take it to skoda next week and getting charged a fortune for what am guessings a 10min job

Your insurance co should cover the cost of new locks and keys as it's in their interest the car doesnt go walkies again.

I would ask them why they wont.

Its because am not going through insurence as it will cost me my excess and loosing 3 years no claims which will put my premium up for next 3 years, so am just going to stand cost of a lock set

We could do it for £30, if you don't mind a little drive. You can't just do it with VAG com, you need your SKC as well
