I'm going to mount my iPad2 on the dashboard in my Superb II. But can't find MDI cables longer then about 20cm, do Skoda or VW sell cables longer then that?

I would imagine you will need to make your own, extend with multicore and shrinkwrap.

You can get longer ones. I've got one that is 1.5m long but that is to move the connection socket as i want to move it to the arm rest. You then just plug the iPod cable into that.

I always use Brodit brackets (buying from Swedish site http://www.skyddet.nu they sell abroad as well). I'm going to mount it above the Columbus at the middle vent, and move my iPhone to the left side of the wheel, at the vent.

Then connecting my iPhone through Bluetooth and my iPad through MDI, and use it to play Spotify, iPod and Navigon Navigation.
