REDEX

Featured Replies

Just noticed on the back of the bottle , stating it's ok for common rail but does not say anything about DPF technology , would it be safe warranty wise to use in the crtdi or is it a wait until it's out of warranty?

Hi Seb, there are some DPF friendly additives about. Here's one... DPF diesel additive etc...

I guess if you want to use Redex you ought to check with them if its' ok. Or maybe a bit of online research might do the trick and tell you. emoticon-0144-nod.gif

Hi well opened an account with the providers, will order when enough dish in paypal , apparently redex is a non starter a total waste of my greenbacks, from what I can gather this BG244 is the dogs 8@££@cks so will put it in the 1.4tdi first, the new 1.6crtdi will not need until it's got at least 10k if not more, will let you know how it pans out, now to get rid of all this redex!!!

The last bottle of Redex i bought from ASDA had a cardboard collar round the neck and it stated that it was okay to use with DPFs.

Roman, that's brill information. Ta!

Had a proper look and the BG stuff looks great, nice to see they are not stating something it can't produce, the reviews look amazing on special offer on the site you gave me £22 delivered, I will put it on the 1.4tdi as it's done 50k now but the website did state that on a new car there is no point, so pretty good, they do a wide range of engine cleaners so next oil change will do a proper job amazing thanx
