Unusually Swift Delivery - 1.2 TSI with DSG

Some good news - hopefully for all of you waiting for your DSG Fabia!

I ordered a Fabia 1.2 TSI 105 Elegance with DSG for my other half on 1st May this year. At the time of ordering, we were quoted an estimated delivery around December. Whilst initially shocked, we went ahead with the order in the end as its a good little car and we weren't in any great hurry.

Well - you can imagine our surprise and delight to receive an email from the salesman saying the car left the factory yesterday, and should be with us in 2-3 weeks!

If this is the case, it will be around 19-20 weeks from date of order to delivery. Whilst not exactly lightning fast, it is certainly better than the 7 months initially quoted! Let us hope this is a sign the factory have finally got their finger out and cars will be churned out faster.

I will put some photos up once delivered - its one of the new colours (Petrol blue) so may be of interest to potential buyers.
