Newbies VRS to Track toy

Hi everybody

Having collected another family car I've registered on the site and am preparing to strip the VRS out for some trackdays. I've started to read through the forums but any advise would be welcome. Car is Mk1 octavia VRS estate. Plan is to strip out everything I can. Fit a bucket seat and some coilovers - then get some tuiton on track. Strip down over winter - first laps in the spring. Cheers.

Has anyone fitted a no shroud water pump to the tdi engine? If so, what was the part number of the pump you used? How did you go about stopping fault codes / engine lights and what did you do with the redundant electrical connector?

Recent bought a second hand 2025 elroq 85 edition trim (no packages) Trying to get my head round the lane assist feature. Skoda manuals don't explain it particularly well. I thought that it would happily keep my in the motorway lane, as long as my hands were touching the steering wheel..instead it kind of bounces me back and forth between the lines like a pinball before getting angry at me and telling me to drive in the centre of the lane. I thought that was your job, car! Anyway it acts more
