Hi for the last couple of days the passenger side door has been rattling like h£ll, it's in the black plastic bit of the door at the bottom, were you put your cr@p in umbrella and stuff, how do I stop it? , may have to remove and put some packing or something any ideas?

sound deadener used to 'deaden' car panels. popular brands include dynamat (expensive stuff), silent coat (does the jon just as good) and many other brands. just get a couple of sheets per door should be enough to stop the rattle.

cheaper alternative, carpet undelay might work, just cut out and stick onto the rattling area.

Thanx but it's not a noise problem it a rattle think it's the plastic vibrating on the metal door frame , I think if I put some single sticky foam on the frame first, it's just a little loose and when the engine is running makes the card vibrate

Are the clips at the bottom of the platic tray?, drivers door is fine, I will have a look when the weathers better just annoying when your driving

the clips hold the door card to the metal door, you'll need a torx screw to undo the screws

to remove the door card, u need to remove the door handle trim, there are 2 big torx screws in the handle and a few (3 If i remember) on the bottom

it will seem impossible to come off, but give it a lot of force and not worry about breaking the clips, very scary at first as u think the clips are gonna break.

then there a cable that attaches to the electric window switch, just unplug it, then lift the whole door card off, lift up first, you'll see.

what ninja stuff, that video isn't me. well the stuff i'm using, is really simple, just peel and stick on. i've already put a tiny bit on the roof above the the sun visors are so you don't get as much echo when you close/put the sun visors..i mean flip the sun visors back uyo.
