Bluetooth module identification

Featured Replies

Hi,

Im planning on changing out my bluetooth module in my 2009 elegance so that I can use my Iphone 4. Ive read the thread on the replacement unit (3C8035730A) i will need off ebay but at £250 was wondering if any of these cheaper modules would suffice 3C8035730 or the 3C8035730B both around the £100 mark.

Would be interested to hear if any of you guys had fitted the the units that dont end in "A"

Thanks and have a great day :-)

I believe a 730A, B or C is OK.

I you wait a couple of days, I'll certainly let you know if a "B" works, as I have one sitting on my desk ready to be installed.

I don't have an Iphone though, but my existing POS module will not connect to my Andriod phone, so I'm guessing if I'm OK you will be too?

Ill keep my fingers crossed for you ;-)

Works like a charm, it found my phone instantly, I entered some numbers on the phone and it worked. :)

It copied the contacts over on its own, then was ready to go, it even shows the phones battery level in the MFD. :o

I got my unit from a guy in Spain on Fleabay.

Let's hope it lasts and thier not faulty units or seconds?, Nah, it works fine so I'm sure it's all good
