Hi all! welcome to my blog, Im just using this to keep track of my car and what Im doing with it, having had an Octavia Mk2 TDI Elegance (also modded) previously I have a fairly good idea what to expect and what I would like from my VRS, and hope to document most of the goings on in my new cars life as I go along. Its always nice to have a record, and is something I regret not doing properly for my previous cars!

Not sure I will go this far, but having thought about it, an APR K04 Turbo Kit does seem tempting, taking the car to 340HP+ not sure I could justify the extra cost though, as I have a hankering for a weekend car (Supra)

Powerflex Lower Engine Mount Insert - sent the MK5 one in error! you need the MK6 one for the FL TSI

LED numberplate bulbs - "canbus friendly" bulbs from Ebay are a no go on the FL

went to Torque tronix for my previous map on my TDI, Dave does a good job alright, but the Shark STS was on offer, couldnt resist!

Im more than happy with the result though, easy enough to get as well, phone up Shark, paid for it, STS came in the post pre loaded with map, stick it on the car and away you go!

I don't do massive miles either but can't be bothered changing insurance etc etc lol plus I'm at the age were I can't really insure a Petrol car that I'd want :( being northern Ireland and all :( lol

What power is your car sitting at currently?

Ps. You've almost as many cleaning products in the background as I do! Lol

Wilsy, havent had it on a RR yet, but Id guess around 250-260hp + 280lbft torque, thats a bum dyno guess lol.

I havent quite as many products as that anymore as I realised it was getting out of hand, so now using them all before any new ones are allowed!

BTW Gobsheene on here is organising a RR day for us N.Ireland members, why dont you come along!

more parts ordered today, got a NQSBBK on the way now, so thats the braking side sorted out. so the plan is to get the suspension, rarb, torque insert and brakes all installed first, then perhaps the stage 2 hardware closer to christmas!
