Yet another mapping question

Featured Replies

Hi all

I am considering getting my 1999 Octy 110 Estate a decent remap

I have owned her for a yr now and still delighted with everything about her

She was wonderfully cared for before my tenure and i aim to continue the good work

However, my concern is this, she is coming up to her 200,000 milestone . will a remap put too much strain/pressure on what appears to be a very strong engine.

Many thanks

Rich

I would imagine the car would be ok... 200k milestone, nice. Mine has just reached 188k (2001).

What parts have been changed over and above general service items in that 200k?

TBH i have had her for about 9 mnths and i am unsure on what has been replaced. The gent who owned her before me was an engineer and she was serviced every 10k on the nose. I have pulled my 4 berth caravan since owning her and still as strong as i would expect. All i want from a remap is slightly more torque to make pulling my caravan slightly less of a strain.
