Intercooler Top hose boost leak - easiest access

Featured Replies

Evening,

as per title really, got tell-tale signs of a small boost leak from the I/C top hose. I've done all the others, including bottom I/c one.

Is it possible to clip/declip in situ, or what is the best access route? I'm thinking headlight out if leaving bumper on to do so is possible.

Suggestions please?

Cheers!

Take the headlight out. :)

No bumper removal needed?

Can't remember what the fabia is like from memory but on mine I found removing the bolts that hold the fuel filter in place and moving it out the way was sufficient to access it.

Nope but is tight,

Headlight out without bumper removal.

Just replaced all hoses myself.

Awesome - a job for tomorrow!

Thanks guys :)

I replaced the top one on sat without removing the light using only a flat screwdriver, taking out the light sounds like a pain.
