My car is approaching one year old and will need to have it's first service this month.

It's done 8,500 miles of sterling service and other than the rear windscreen wiper packing in I have not had any bother with it, it's the best car I have ever owed as I keep telling people who ask.

Having bought it through a broker and not having owed a Skoda in the past, I have no allegiance to any local dealers so am looking for some opinions as to who is the best and cheapest.

Would welcome any opinions.

I have posted on here a number of times singing the praises of Sinclair Skoda in Swansea. I bought the car from them and it has had first and second services there, at about £100 each time (most of which was the oil). Not only that, when I needed a set of four replacement Dunlops, they were the most competitive around.

I have found them to be obliging, effective, economical to do business with, and would certainly endorse them. In quizzing various bods when I have been in there it has struck me that they DO know their business, and especially the Yeti.

And - they were retailer of the year.
