Bling!

Featured Replies

Thought I'd do something different....

i was looking at wrap and a respray

I like the Chrome Grill on ALL Skodas...Really not keen on black or even colour coding (Sorry Alan and Bryan)

So...I decided to add more chrome!!

Bought from eBay and fitted in minutes after a degrease and clean of the mirrors

I know they are not to everyones taste...But I like them

Your comments good or bad would be interesting to read

Blingy!

Blingtastic. :smirk:

Nice!

Got to admit though... I was expecting GOLD and Brimma to be the OP lol :)

No No No No and No

Sorry mate not my cup of tea. Matt Silver would look better but not chrome. But each to their own i like my colour coded grille and you don't.

Life would be boring if we all had the same tastes :)

I do like the additional vRS badges though

You're the opposite of me.. I've de-badged and de-chromed, you've added both.

:D

Not my style, but good on you for making it your own.

looks alright but in any other colour would look poo

Think it looks really good.

I'm with Carl on this - wrong look IMHO.

Satin al la' S3 might look OK but chrome looks cheap.

That said, Carl and I like our splitters, lots of people don't.

I love white cars, my missus thinks they are just too close to taxis for her liking. Each to their own and good for you for trying something different.

At least ther're not gold!

I did mine Matt black

The mat black mirrors and wheels on that White VRS really look the dogs danglies. However I think on a darker coloured car it bit of chrome stands out nicely.

Thanks for all the comments guys, good and bad.

I really like them

Of course I appreciate they are not to everyones taste.

Never a fan of these on certain Audi models. So it's a no from me.

But glad they suit your tastes Chris emoticon-0148-yes.gif

did it affect your insurance much?

Did your vRS Tax Disc holder? :giggle:

Cheers!

Think youve done a brilliant job on them! Was it difficuilt to do? Does the material feel like its durable?

Looks good. Any chance of a shot of them from the mirror side? What did you actually purchase to do it. I can't find anything suitable on ebay.

Not bad looking go well with the colour of the car

Not to pi55 on your bonfire, but I bought a set of shiny chrome mirrors for my Superb a couple of years ago, 3M tape and all that jazz. As soon as winter hit, the road salt totally ruined them and they discoloured and looked awful, just one thing to bear in mind. It annoyed me at the time as i really like chrome / silver mirrors.
