Skoda Price Rise - Is It True

Featured Replies

I was in a Skoda dealership today & I am sure I overheard a saleslady telling a customer Skoda prices went up yesterday, does anyone know if its true

looks like it, just had a gander at the skoda uk website, and a price for a vRS (i happen to know the original price was 15100) is now 15330....

Is it actually a price rise, or have they re-jigged what's included in the packages?

i.e. chucked in metalic paint as standard and bumped up the price?

Looks like a straight price increase - around 1.5% .

The RS has gone up

Tis' true even the once

So Sales must be good !!

Laws of supply and demand. people are demanding Skodas and the price goes up. If its only 1.5% however, it could just be an annual increase to keep up with the underlying inflation rate...?

Probably to subsidise the Warranty purse, for all the 2002 model year Fabia's ;)

I don't want to appear cynical, but are we sure that the Government hasn't just found a way to put National Insurance on cars? The present lot are managing to claw back money from me in all manner of creative and sneaky ways. Anyone know how I can join the working class, please, so I don't have to pay them so much? rolleyes.gif

Join the black market, Denis. Start trading at car boot sales, and wearing string vests like Rab C Nesbitt, and drinking beer straight from the can. I dunno what else one can do? (perhaps start by not saying "what one can do") :D

prices in Swe havent risen since ..uhh...january i reckon. must be a new labour tax? :D

tis the exchange rates....

glad i got mine last month..... with 0%
