03 Octavia needs Bluetooth & IPod

Featured Replies

I've just bought an 03 Reg Octavia, 2.0 litre Ambiente that's as standard as it cones.

I want an iPod connection and Bluetooth.

I was thinking of a connects2 lead for the iPod and a parrot 3100 for the Bluetooth. Anyone know if I can fit both or will I have any problems? Anyone done the same?

I'm open to other suggestions if you have any better solutions?

Thanks for your help.

some of the parrot kits come with an ipod connector, we have a parrot mki9200 in our car....

John

it wasnt hard at all just pluged into the connections that was already in on the original stereo

yes come with the sat nav aerial plugs in the back

no tv aerial though have to buy seperate

then i ran the sat nav antenna through the back into the glove box

just take it out and stick it to the dash when needed

also comes with the mic for the hands free

i had a garmin before but sold it as no cig lighter to use it

and think the sat nav is a lot better on this

also can have music on the same time and cuts off when it tells you the way to go then comes back on after its spoken

bonus of a bigger screen to

if you want pics of the sat nav screen etc let me know and will send you some tomorrow

the 9200 works with ipod, easy to fit too, take readio out, remove 5 star drive screws to take glove box out... the blue parrot box when connected will fit neatly by the side of radio (out of sight).. the screen wire can then ome above the radio and out of the blanking plate..... I then ran the mic wire through the interior light and sown the A pillar.... all was neat

Though have to be honest, our 9200 went faulty so its removed now, double din milion d2217 should arrive next week

I've got a Parrot CK3300 and a Dension Ice Link Plus for the iPod which sits out of sight in the glovebox. Both work very well.
