Have booked it in for latter next week , on 54 reg and only 6 months old . Has any one else had one of these recall lett . Is it only the 130 PD Octy .with this fault.

This recall has been in place for a while now - suprised they don't know about it.

very straightforward check - not likely to need anything.

The recall came out in December. I had my car checked and the bolts replaced between Christmas and New Year but have not had a letter about it yet.

I've also noticed it took until 17th February for it to appear on the VOSA recalls database. Honestly, I thought it hadn't appeared but decided to check while typing this in case I got it wrong!

How did I hear about the recall? BRISKODA!

It's this type of information sharing that makes this community work

EDIT TO ADD:

Concern : BOLTS OF THE TANDEM FUEL PUMP COVER MAY BREAK

Description : It is advised that, on some vehicles fitted with a 3 and 4 cylinder pump injector engine, the bolts of the tandem fuel pump cover may break due to a bolt production fault. As a result, the pump housing will not be tight, and a diesel fuel leak may occur.

Remedial Action : Recalled vehicles will have the pump checked for being of a certain manufacture. If found to be within the affected range, the pump housing cover bolts will be replaced.
