1.9 SDI Classic Fusebox Layout

Featured Replies

I am new to the Forum but have seen a web link to "Fusebox Layout" - but it is not the same as mine.

The Owners Manual doesn't match either. After blowing the Cigarette Lighter fuse, I fixed it by checking each fuse until I found the one blown.

Now they are all checked and OK but there are some unfilled places - could one of these be for the Rear Window Demister?

My SDI is a "no frills" version from 2003 and I suspect it was a taxi for its first three years.

Thanks for any forthcoming help.

Does the light come on when you press the demister switch. If so it's getting power so it's not a fuse. If not you need to check F26 which is 25A. Another common cause are the connections to the heated rear window itself.

The fuse box is a mirror image of the layout in the manual

It turned out to be the heater connections. I believe there is some sort of conductive epoxy that can be used to fix it. - thanks for your help.
