I have literally just done this to my car, fitted a short Citroen aerial. All you do is fully unwind the old long aerial til it is fully unwound then give it a right good tug. Trust me it will come off after a few hard pulls. It has an anti theft barb type thing on the end to stop plonkers trying to steal it hope this helps.

lol just a sore bum then lol

when i did mine i swear to God i thought the whole thing was going to come out of the roof B)

Try doing it on a m2 Octavia, you have to stand in the open boot to yank it, otherwise you will not be able to reach/pull with force

Anyone know what the thread size for the aerial is?

Curious to know if the aerial from the Polo 9R will fit
