Found a neat wee trick

Featured Replies

While listening to music via the MDI I was messing around with the MFD display and noticed audio. I clicked it and the text for the songs were displayed on the mfd display I thought that's cool.

I then pressed the trip button on the stalk and it skipped the tracks like that of a multifunction steering wheel.

Has anyone else found wee tricks like this??

Is this with normal MFD or the Maxidot?

^^ That will be maxidot

Yes I noticed this too although it's a little pointless since I can click Next on my steering wheel.

Quite a nice thing for people who have maxidot but no MFSW though.

Incidentally on my MK6 Golf when in the audio menu I can use buttons on both sides of my wheel to skip tracks etc, suppose its the same.

its a very nice thing for us poor Monte owners who couldn't spec a MFW.

Great hint and one I will use.

That's cool. Nice to know

Holding the volume button on the steering wheel opens the voice commands for phoning people.
