I have just joined the forum which looks great. I have just become the proud owner of my 2001 Skoda Octavia Ambiente 1.9 diesel estate. This is my first Skoda and I hoped you wouldn't mind if I put some questions out to the regulars on here.

I would like to get some mats, a boot storage net and a boot liner - I can see plenty of mats and liners on-line but does anyone have reputable sources? Or should I go to Skoda direct? Also, I would like to change the wipers to the new 'aero' style ones as the current ones are a bit rusty.

IVe just bought some mats off ebay, no idea if they will be any good though.

I put some normal aero wiper blades on. The universal jobbies that fit any car and they are great. Again, ebay ones! Although pretty good quality. I've seen people doing mods to put aero assemblies from other cars on but I see no advantage over just using a universal blade.

Just ordered some mats from mycarmats.co.uk - think I'll put some universal aero blades on too - will look a lot smarter than the current ones :-)

Golf mk4 aero wipers are the best way to go. Some people find the universal ones don't wipe the screen very well.

Some boot nets were available from Skoda; you could try a dealer.
