Lowering your car

Featured Replies

I was just browsing dpmperformance.co.uk and had a look at the drop links as i need new ones and noticed that it says 'contact between the standard anti roll bar and the drive shaft when the vehicle is lowered' so i'm guessing that i would have to upgrade my standard drop links anyway if i were to get coilovers (JOM Coilover Suspension kit for the Fabia. Reason why i am asking is i want to to be safe than sorry.

Thanks Arron

Depends on how low you go - if you dont go too low on the front you wont need shorter droplinks.

Also I think some brands of coilovers dont require shorter droplinks? Ask Damian at DPM he's a good chappy :)

i was most likely going to lower 40mm all round but will have to see how the car sits when i get them.

Thanks for the reply and i shall ask Damian :)

As mentioned it all depends on how low you go and what kit you use.

With the JOMs it is best to get the adjustable drop links but you could always fit the kit and set it to the height you want then see if you need them.
