I have notice that when I leave work , car parked on a slight hill, the hand brake light on the dash flashes and beeps. The hand brake is off. This has also happened at my parents house when going down their steep drive.

Any ideas?

Could be brake fluid level?

I would guess it was the fluid low warning....

If it's not that, then maybe the lever isn't applying right pressure to the switch.
