Rear folding seats release catch

Featured Replies

Hi somehow I managed to get my rear seatbelt stuck in the release mechanism on the rear seats and in an effort to try and get it out I've pulled the release catch up too far and it's snapped. so now the rear seats cannot fold down

Is it possible to fix if I get a replacement part and if so does anyone have a part number and the best and cheapest place to get it from

Cheers

Anyone help me on this ???

I guess you might have to hack the back off the seat off to get to the internals of the lack.... :(

Please don't say that !!!

I had the same issue with a MK4 golf estate, you can operate the catch with a screwdriver as and when necessary. Just observe how the other side works and its just a few seconds to flick the catch with a screwdriver.
