I'm looking for some discs for my new calipers and need some help please. I know the diameter of the discs should be 312mm, but what is the thickness I need (hub +disc I think), and what is the centre hole diameter? Hope this makes sense!

Any recommendation on pads matt?

I've had a set of Mintex M1144 Pads on for a while, they are damn good and have lasted ages. Not cheap though.

The part number I was given by Garry at motorsportworld was MDB1531M1144 but I'd check that against the rest of your 312 brake system with him before ordering just incase.

When I got my 312's (years ago now from golfturbo on here) I had zimmerman drilled discs but I can't for the life of me remember anything else about them so if anyone does know please enlighten me as I'll need a new set soon.

I decided on these in the end.

OE quality.

Matched disc and pad set.

Added bonus of being painted so will take longer to

They do seem to have gone up since I bought mine (Fairly recently)

but I made an offer of £80 and it was accepted. but they were only £89

when I bought them. So I got mine delivered for £87.99 all in.

Not a bad price when you consider they are supplied with genuine Pagid pads.

OEM discs and DS2500 pads are the best setup (In my opinion, of course).

I`m not much of a hard driver so i`m sure some of the other recommendations are good options. Since the fabia is massively over-braked with the 312`s I`v got some cheapy (but still known brand) pads and discs.
