Umbrella holder

Featured Replies

In previous vehicles the Umbrella was beneath everything else and invariably came out damaged, A friends Skoda Superb has an Umbrella Holder complete with Skoda Umbrella.

So for Hetty the Yeti a new Skoda Umbrella and two pipe clips one 28mm an the other 15mm and attached the clips to the drop down portion of the rear compartment cover.

Job Done! Everything in its place!

Very neat!!!

My umbrella (a Renault freeby) lives in the slot between the back seats and the raised boot floor.

Vwery neat and tidy. Mine just lies there in the boot.

Come to think of it, there is enough stiffness and thickness in the hatshelf/luggage cover that you might put the clips on the trailing edge of that. Then it is readily available - even if the boot is full of stuff.

+1 a Bang & Olufsen job

Fantastic idea!

Details of clips attachment if possible, please :p .

Plumbers/ Builders Merchants/DIY open pipe clips self tapped screwed to the fold down section of the luggage compartment hinged cover. On Hetty this is felt/board material and takes the self tapping screw with the minimum of a pilot hole...simples

Handle of Brolly end 28mm spike end 15mm but depends on your Umbrella !

You spoil your Yeti, what with a great umbrella mod and fitted carpet on the boot floor, tidy job!
