Lacquer Peeling on Spoiler

Featured Replies

Has anyone else suffered this? All along the following edge it is peeling off, and whenever it rains (now.. :() rains gets under it and lifts more of it up.

Anyone know of a rough price to get the spoiler repainted?

Is the spoiler removal for repainting?

Does Skoda offer any paintwork guarantee?

Cheers guys :)

Been covered a lot this year.

90% of the Fabia vRS's on here seem to

have suffered this.

Don't waste your time with Skoda.

They are not interested.

You have a 5 year old car and expect the the paintwork to be covered by the Warranty?

I have an 07 vrs in blue which had just started doing the same :-(

I thought vag cars had a 10 year paint warranty?

I would say theres deffinately a fault somewhere, 5 years and its perfectly acceptable that the paints peeling? :dull:

I think not!

The paintwork would be covered by the corrosion guarantee and that would only apply to corrosion starting from inside the panels and working it's way out. If you have a good relationship with your Skoda dealer they may do something with it, customer experience and all that.

My Saxo had a anti-corrosion guarantee (services had to done by Citroen when they would ''check'' the paint)... the way it is going there is going to be corrosion before winters end!

Will look into getting it painted. Cheeky question but does anyone have a rough idea of costs for it? :)
