Fault code 19852?

Featured Replies

Hi, I have a 2010 Fabia 1.6Tdi but can anyone help with a fault code that developed today?

Driving to work the control system for exhaust warning light came on, the car was a bit sluggish up hills and the fuel economy went down. I called Skoda who couldn't fit the car in, suggested I ring assistance. The RAC duly arrived and diagnosed a code 19852 fault and cleared it. Problem is, their software wasn't updated enough to tell me what the fault was. The car drives perfectly now, but I'm worried about why this warning light came on. Any suggestions appreciated!

That maybe the DPF sensor fault ? Get it to the dealers :(

Hi Jus

Found this website which lists fault codes albeit for the Passat. Think they're fairly 'universal'.

http://sites.google.com/site/1810martin/fault-codes-18000---19999

19852  P3396  Fuel injection valve 3 (N368), short to ground

Don't know how relevant this will be but don't think it will be DPF fault as clearing the code has resulted in full performance.

I feel that if it were a DPF problem the warning light would be flashing again - almost immediately!!

Might be a wiring fault. Would suggest you seek advice from your dealer if only to reassure yourself.

P.S. This site also lists the same : http://www.gerritspeek.nl/vag-com_foutcodeslijst-j.html

Thanks, hopefully it may just be a glitch but think I'll book it in to make sure. Drove it tonight and all ok so fingers crossed.
