yeti share

Featured Replies

hi everyone

anyone tried yeti sharing. had our yeti for just over two weeks. The garage has now had it for over two weeks :'(

should be back fingers crossed at the end of the week. With a new gearbox. Hope theres not a design fault with the new 170 gearbox. anyone else had a problem.

Not a good start then, sorry to hear that, it does little for one's confidence in their purchase decision, I now have to wait to see how long it will take to fix my car after a simple problem not of my making was made worse by Skoda assists failed attempt to fix.

I have had my Yeti for about 2 months now, it is a 170tdi, I have done 6,000 miles so far, these have been with the caravan on the back, motorway, A road B road and off road in Wales, I have had no issue what so ever mechanically or otherwise, averaging 46mpg on the maxidot from when I got the car, I really can't complain.

Hi,

if your Monster is a MY12 which by the sounds of it it will be, then you will have a different box to that fitted to the MY10 & 11. All 4x4 diesels got new transmission codes as part of the model updates.

170 TC KXY replaced by NFM

140 TC LNM replaced by NRF

110 TC LNN replaced by NFQ

140 DSG is currently on its third code NJC and will switch for the fourth time in November to NMD

The new 140 2wd will use a 6 speed box TC code NGC I believe.

hi tp yes it is my12. Only noticed the oil leak as the drive is on a slope and the oil came out of the sump gaurd hole

at the back. If it was parked on the level or downhill would never have noticed. My consern is have they made a batch

of leaking boxes, that may give new owners problems when the oil drains out.
