Volkswagen Polo R spied

Featured Replies

OK I know this is the Yeti forum; but bear with me...

This was the headline from an Auto Express piece, which you can read at:

http://www.autoexpre...lo_r_spied.html

What caught my eye was this quote:

'The (all-new) 1.6-litre TSI unit will produce around 210bhp and is likely to replace the 1.8-litre TSI engine in the VW line-up which is currently one of the oldest and most inefficient engines.'

Now I know that AE is hardly a paragon of accuracy, but it would be interesting to see this engine replace the 1.8TSi in the Yeti at some - hopefully not too distant - future date, preferably with DSG.

Maybe that is why the 1.8tsi engine remaps so well emoticon-0136-giggle.gif

A 210hp DSG sounds very, very tasty indeed!!!
