Hi I had to get my 2 month old vrs's rear passanger door resprayed due to someone throwing eggs at it unfortunately the bodyshop has marked the door trim that runs along the bottom of the window (outside) I was wondering how much this is to replace and if the glass needs to come out to do it,its not too bad but bugs me on a nearly new car! The bodyshop won't replace it they say its acceptable.....

Also does anyone else have real problems with paint chips I have never had a car which picks up big stone chips so easily and everyone goes all the way to metal, never had problems like this on my last 3 new cars (renaults)I usually keep cars for 3 years but at this rate I will have to get rid of it much sooner as it will look seriously 2nd hand after a few years its a shame i love the car but don't find this acceptable

Drive a little further away from the car in front if the door seal was fine before body shop had it they should sort it, small claims court
