Skoda Mentors!

Featured Replies

Hi All,

I’m considering buying a Fabia Greenline and am hoping to learn from the group’s experiences with owning and driving the Fabia Greenline Estate.

I have not owned a car for quite some time and the eco credentials of the Fabia Greenline are tempting me back to car ownership.

Welcome aboard.

You will probably get more answers in the Fabia II section... but I happen to have a Fabia Greenline II estate that's now done 11,600 miles since I got in January this year.

Very impressed.

78mpg when driven like you could run out of fuel any second and need to get home and 60mpg when driven like your hair is on fire.

Fine for everyday driving and although a 1.2 3cyl diesel it pulls fine and will keep up with (and overtake) motorway traffic.

Good basic spec for the price with the main things included, unlike many standard Fabias. (like ESP, cruise control etc..)

Good space for a cheap car too. Boot is impressive for a 4.2m vehicle.

A few options make it a nicer car to drive though.

Aircon dials are cheap. Spec climatronic and they are replaced with a nice digital display.

Steering wheel is cheap plastic. Dealer can change for a nice leather one for not a lot of money. Make the car much nicer to drive.

If you are near Essex/London you're welcome to have a look at mine.

welcome to Briskoda
