finance offer to end of June 2011?

Featured Replies

Hello, I ran a Google search and brisky search before making this thread. I'm going signing my finance papers this morning for my car which I ordered 26th June 2011 and I have a few quick questions to ask you guys before I sign the dotted line...

1. Just wondering if anyone can remember the finance offer applicable to that period? For a pcp was it 7.9% apr with 3 years free servicing or something else?

2. Also should I push for a better rate than this as my current pcp rate for the car I'm handing back is 6% apr which came with the 3 years free servicing also?

And 3. Has anyone had any success negotiating the rate of finance when they went to sign the paperwork, and do they revalue my trade in which is a 58 plate fabia bought from the same dealer on a pcp also.

Thank you for any advice guys! :-)

Interest questions, which I hope someone else can answer. Ordering in April, I wasn't offered the free servicing - but then I haven't actually signed anything yet either... so I was wondering where I stand with this also.

I wish I'd thought to ask sooner as I'm seeing the dealer at 10am this morning...

A quick update, they didn't even look at the car, my original valuation stood. Apr on the monitor said 7.9% but on the documents to sign said Apr 7.4% and flat rate of 6.47%. Really happy with my deal in the end. I got the 5% vat and extra discount on top so I can't moan.

Jaxx, that's brilliant mate! Well done.

Didescharlie, I'd have a chat to your dealer about that as soon as possible. He's the one with the answers...but you may still hold some negotiating power if nothing has been signed.

The 7.4% is the rate without the document fee, the 6.47% is an estimate flat rate (as flat rates don't really exist with rv products). A.p.r full rate is 7.9%
