Octavia II, drivers window motor & control unit

Featured Replies

Ok, so we need to replace this unit in the drivers door. I have a couple of questions:

1/ Is there coding required when its replaced?

2/ Im looking on Ebay etc for the part. Does anyone know if a part that has the correct part nuumber except for a different letter at the end will work? What I mean is, if the new part had the letter D at the end of the part number and the original part had the letter C, does this mean its an updated/revised part & therefore suitable or is it a different unusable part?
