Electric wing mirror RH grey needed

Featured Replies

Hey guys,

yesterday I went to open my drivers side wing mirror from being folded in overnight and the thing came off in my hand...the metal in the center actually snapped, can you believe that :'( it was like butter! I have tried to stick it with J-B WELD Strong Metal repair Glue, but no go. So looks like I need a replacement complete unit, so it is an Octavia MK1 1999 electric RH (drivers side) wing mirror, apparently my car is grey (looks more like dark green to me but anyway) so if you know of a good working cheap one lying around, if not in grey perhaps a back one?

If you can help lemme know.

Thanks in advance.

Can you get another colour and just swap the painted part over?

Oh, can that be done?

Will they fit my 99 model? If so, and I can exchange my outer colour coded covers then I will prolly take them off your hands, lemme know and we can arrange something.

yep pretty sure there the same,

can the covers be taken off mine and put on yours do you know?

Also you say in the auction the chrome caps are not included (which is not a problem) however aren't they glued on?
