hi

just purchased a 2001 fabia comfort est 1.9 tdi with full skoda main dealer service history mileage 87k, needed a runaround as my audi 80 2.0 e petrol {1994 L reg] est which i have owned from 18k finally went to the graveyard at 180k.Really pleased with my new purchase although only done 200 miles in first week running around, fuel consumption in spot on according to spec, a little bit wallowy around corners{could i improve this as this seeems to be a minor issue},after reading reviews it seems to apply to all earlier models, I think I am just used to my Audi and driving my My wifes AUDI TT ,the only issue I have is that the front headlamps have some sort of residue on the lenses,I think that the car may have been fitted with with beam deflectors or some thing similar and i cant remove I HAVE TRIED NAIL VARNISH REMOVER, T CUT AND STUFFY REMOVER {any advice},althogh this does not impair night vision driving, or affect the MOT but have thought of fitting zenon bulbs, other than that can I expect any issues or problems. As said earlier full servive hitory up to date only needs oil service as last one carried out at 78k - HUGELY IMPRESSED SO FAR for 1.8K PURCHASE, NOT THE 20K THE WIFE PAID FOR THE TT -can Iexpect any common issues as I am now thinking of keeping car until it dies - instant love.

Meths removes many things. May be better than acetone (nail varnish remover). Good luck.
