friend had these on his type r and never was that happy with them for the money! as was a pretty hard ride!

D2 coils are massive! More so in the jap scene!

They will be more than sufficient id say

think im gonna get some kws or summat along those lines. were kws fitted by you? rear 2 shocks are purple and have got kw on em??

I had D2 coiles on my Civic, they were great !

But for the Fabia, and that money, i'd maybe go the KW route.

Ah ryt so it still has the kw shocks on the back? But standard springs?

I never fitted them....

The kw's are awesome!

seems that way fella, also got the base for the springs which were in the spare wheel well with the keys for susp. so wondering now just to get lowered springs for rear and see how much kws just for the front would be. cud do with new bump stop and dust shield on one rear as its split off. apart from that they seem ok. deffo goin down kw route if they are the real deal on the rear lol.

Yeah just get the springs for the rear!!

I think i hid them there!

Rear shocks are kw

haha bril shall just get some lowered springs for rear then and try get just a set if coilies for the fronts. think only got half the rear bits for the springs to sit on, shall check next time in the garage.

Aye you've maybe got the wrong bits

You've probs got the adjuster cups which are no good without the other part

Phone kw ask for everything except the rear shocks..... But would it not be worthwhile just biting the bullet and fitting all new components

yeah think im just gonna get a new kit lol, might as well and get and arb fitted too. yeah ive just got the adjuster cups. i'll sell plate wen docs are through and put that towards a decent set

I never ran a rear arb....

Never thought it needed it..... But everyone seems to rave on about them

Me mates ordering his in next cppl of weeks so can see what its like, I'd f thought it wud make a big difference seems the rear hasn't got one!one of me fiestas had an uprated one and made so much difference was weird!

Hmm i know but i felt comfortable with the kw's and front brace.... Plus i couldnt be bother spending £200 on a metal bar lol

In theory, a RARB shouldn't help. The rear suspension on a Fabia is trailing arm with a torsion beam anyway, not independent. But yeah, people rave on about them, and they do on the bigger cars with the same suspension design (Golf, Leon, Octavia, etc) so they must make a bit of difference to some people. I've got one, but haven't driven the same car without it, so I'm not qualified to say what difference it actually makes if any...

hummm interesting lol. will see what me mates like in the next cppl of weeks, need coilies first haha

I fitted whiteline 20mm RARB this weekend gone and its made a massive improvement I did however put it on the highest setting which I feel without an uprated FARB is a bit to high so i will put it on the middle setting until I upgrade the front.

ahh sounds good then fella, shall get one once get coilies sorted :)

Just think of it as stiffening the rear beam. Even though the VRS has a beefy rear beam to start with, the suspension balance is quite wrong for sporty or engaging driving. Rear suspension is classed as "semi-independent" BTW. Trust me, I have a Jabba RARB and it's made a massive difference.

I think those that do track days and want the ultimate in handling, then decent coilovers and setup can negate the need for a RARB. Fit heavier and lower rear springs for much the same effect. For those running standard suspension or a minor drop spring kit, the RARB is the cheapest and most effective way to improve the balance.
