EPC Light keeps coming on

Featured Replies

Continuing with my battle with various warning lights illuminating on the vRS I've now hit a wall with the EPC light.

The light came on first of all after going into limp mode which cleared after a restart of the engine. Not long after the EPC light came on. Took it to the garage and the exhaust pressure sensor was the culprit. Got it back, all good, then a day later the light came on again. Back to the garage and once again the code reader came up with the exhaust pressure sensor. Tried to clear the fault but it wouldn't go away. Pressure sensor changed and all good once again. Driving home from work last night and the bloody thing cam back on again so it's back to the garage on Monday.

I have had no change in performance, no lumpiness, no hesitation, nothing.

Anyone got any ideas as to what else it could be - could another sensor be causing the problem or would it through up another code? Really losing faith in the car and thinking about chopping it in as soon as I can

Just in case anyone is bothered, still not fixed so dumped the DPF and had it remapped at the same time @shark performance. Just waiting for the long drive home - wonder if my mpg will be any better (probably worse  )
