I'm looking at the Fabia Monte Carlo, and the dealer has left me a little confused.

There are two options for ESP:

ESP (Electronic Stability Programme) + ASR (Anti-Slip regulation)

ESP Plus (ESP+TPM+HHC)

Does the ESP Plus also come with ASR as the local dealer didn't seem to really know. Can someone throw some light on it for me?

The way I read it was that ESP included [Electronic Stability Programme] and ASR and that ESP Plus was all of ESP (i.e. the two mentioned} + Type Pressure and Hill Hold.

I like hill hold - although it did take a little getting used to.

ESP allways includes ASR!...you cannot have ESP without ASR as ASR is part of the ESP programe parameters!

ESP Plus just adds Hill Hold Control...and Tyre Pressure Monitoring..

Concur ESP+ adds TPM and HHC to the standard Fabia ESP system. Wife has the ESP+ on her Elegance and this was the first option on the list as we won't buy a new car without ESP. There's and ASR deativation switch on the dash above the heated rear screen switch.

Had a strange week of HHC failure but it fixed itself before the dealer had chance to look at it and no fault codes were left behind :wonder: no problems since.

Cheers peeps, it seems that I'm not having a good time with the local dealers. But you guys have answered the question the dealers couldn't.

Might be posting some more up on the dealer tomorrow, depending on the outcome off the morning visit.

I can tell when drifting and doing j turns if the tyre's need some nitro
