PANIC!

Featured Replies

Sheila has just rung me at work to say that she checked the answering machine and the windscreen company are coming in the morning to change the cracked screen (Yes, another one!!)

I can't get out to the car, but know I will need to leave the wipers in their park mode. Could someone please tell me how to do it, so that I can leave the car ready for them in the morning?

Turn on ignition. Turn off ignition. Push wiper stalk down. It will then park in the service position.

One new windscreen fitted. All done in 2 hours.

Excellent. Also, for 'park' on the wipers you can unlock the car and then just hold down the wiper stalk. No key in the ignition required. They just go into the park position and stay there.

Works on the Octy anyway :)

I wouldn't have bothered, the first thing Autowindscreens did with mine was to up the bonnet and remove the wipers completely!!
